A big thank you to Jamie and his family for a great couple of days wakeboarding at 4 lakes. This was Jake’s first attempt at wakeboarding, and with Jamie’s excellent coaching and great patience he was up and riding on the rope by day two. We will definitely be back in the future and look forward to giving the wake surfing a go.

4 Lakes Waterski School hosted our group of 12 for part of my stag do a couple of weekends ago...what a day! Really friendly staff, clean and ample changing facilities, warm drinks offered after a dip in the lake, couldn't have asked for more. We were taken out in smaller groups on the boat whilst others watched from benches/loungers on the shore, for wakeboarding followed by inflatable madness and everyone got a really good amount of time on (and in) the water. Jamie was a fantastic instructor, challenging the experienced wakeboarders to do more whilst teaching complete beginners the basics...somehow got everyone up on the rope which is an achievement in itself (particularly given this was day two of the stag!!). We had a mix of ages, sizes and physical abilities and he adapted the tutoring to each individual brilliantly. Also got well involved with the banter of the group making sure everyone got a soaking on the inflatables and giving us a laugh on the boat. Equipment was in great condition, safety measures well explained, really couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much for looking after us and making it a stag to remember!!

This place is incredible. Sam was super helpful before we came and advised a 30 min slot would be good for beginners. So we booked a load up before arriving! The booking process was simple. We booked 30 mins slots for the kids & hubby who had never done it before & as you can see from the pictures - they were up and on the rope in about 10 mins!! Wetsuits provided which were amazing quality. Jamie was a phenomenal teacher. It’s a family affair with Sam’s dad driving the boat! Jamie has a wonderful manner and kept the kids & hubby calm and encouraged!! We as a family are now hooked & can’t wait to come back. We cannot rate the service and experience highly enough. Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely setting with easy access to the water and basic but well maintained facilities providing everything you need. The area available isn't huge so whilst it is ideal for beginners and practicing skills there isn't much for experienced paddlers to explore. That said our mixed experience group had a great time teaching each other and practicing skills. Non participants were made welcome and there is a lovely area for picnics so after our activities we refulled and relaxed.

We always enjoy ourselves. Every time you go out on the water the drivers are enthusiastic and the standard of coaching is top notch! Everybody is super friendly, and the lake is beautiful whether you’re showing off your skills on the water or having a picnic on the grass. There is a great variety of activities offered. We have been visiting for years and there is nowhere else I would rather go!

Jamie and Sam have such a great set up here. My group of friends have been going regularly for a while but I have only just started wakeboarding myself. After two sessions Jamie had me crossing the wake on my toe edge! Fabulous teacher and fabulous location - couldn't recommend more. Plus, there are great facilities and a BBQ to rent too!

I’ve been going for a while now and have had a great experience every single time. Jamie is a great teacher and I’ve enjoyed it so much that I’ve dragged friends along, and every single one of them said they also had an amazing time. Great coaching for all ability levels, and a really friendly atmosphere

We had our first experience paddleboarding and it was so much fun. The area there is beautiful so could just sit on your board and admire the view! Sam was so friendly and welcoming, so I can't wait to come back and try again! Very reasonable price with great equipment and facilities

We had a brilliant weekend at 4 Lakes over the August Bank Holiday. The facilities are great, the people are super friendly and the coaching they provide is excellent. Some of my friends did the SUP fit class and loved it and we had quite a few waterskiing sessions and everyone improved. We also hired SUPs and Canoes which were also really good fun. All the kit is good quality and the ski boats are really good and really well maintained. The lakes are super clean too. Jamie and Sam who own 4Lakes are super friendly and they and their staff make everyone feel very welcome and safe. We’ll definitely be back. That’s the best recommendation I think I can give. I’d absolutely recommend them.

Thank you so much for such a fun morning at 4 Lakes. My 15 YO son had a double wakeboard lesson booked with Jamie. Jamie was brilliant; just the right balance of teaching him whilst giving him the confidence and encouragement to try new tricks. He even had a go at a ‘180’ - which was brilliant!! 4 Lakes is a truly wonderful destination, in a beautiful setting, run by super friendly staff. The facilities are excellent. We found it quite by accident via a web search and I’m so glad we did!! We will definitely be coming back. I couldn’t recommend it more and the prices are very reasonable too - especially when coupled with the expert tuition. We really enjoyed meeting Waffle too :)
