They are very busy so may not answer the phones straight away, after you speak to them the best thing to do is drive there and take the animal yourself if you can (there is advice on their website about which animals you can take in). The centre is at the nature reserve so you have to go through a gate that can be opened). We were confused for a while and thought we couldn’t get through as the signs aren’t too clear. Staff very helpful and you can get a reference number to get updates on the animal. We have taken a young hedgehog there before who was about during the day and too small as weighed under 500 grams so wouldn’t survive the winter, they looked after it all winter and then they released it into the wild during the spring. We have also taken a young house Martin who was released a few days later after getting enough strength and we have taken 5 more young hedgehogs this season who are also being looked after by them so that they survive the winter. They have a charity lottery and can set up monthly donation, they also have an Amazon Wishlist if you can support them to continue the amazing work they do (more info on their website).

They took in the baby hedgehog we found and were very helpful. Even said we could phone to see how he was. Named him Harold! We can have him back too when he's rehydrated.

We had to bring in two baby hogs. Whom wouldn't have survived the winter. Staff were very efficient and reassuring.. hoping to get them back, when safe to do so and release back into our village.

Took a hedgehog that was wandering around close to our house during the day to this rescue centre, they were really helpful when I rang them and when I got there, just hope the hog will be ok as they were concerned about it's health.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and polite when we found a poorly bird. It was a quick simple process and was reassuring to know that the bird would be well looked after when dropped off. Staff were very helpful to inform me what was wrong with the bird and reassured me it would be well looked after.

Took a bird with a damaged shoulder here for treatment. Staff very polite and helpful. Said they would do all they could to get it back to A1.

I called on a Sunday night after finding an injured badger in the road in Highworth and tried in vein to get her help, she sadly died in my car while trying to get someone to care. No one was there! She died in pain and I couldn't do a thing about it, she made some awful sounds as she slipped away. Nobody for back to me, I guess don't get hurt at the weekend...

Amazing place, they have taken in two juvenile hedgehogs we had our garden for the winter as they aren't big enough after so many places said they were full. They thanked me for taking them in, I'm certain it's the other way round! So happy to take them there and see they are in the best hands.
